Join us for a three day workshop on July 28, 28, and 30th that will take you from "Blackboard Beginner" to "Blackboard Guru." In this academy, you will work with a Blackboard instructor to set up your class, post assignments, add collaborative components for your students, assess students online, and learn to use the report features of Blackboard to run reports on student performance. Blackboard 9.1 is a service offered to Macomb County teachers free of charge. This workshop is designed to help Macomb teachers get a "jump start" on using Blackboard 9.1 for the 2015-16 school year. Find out how teachers are using Blackboard at all levels--elementary, middle, and high school to engage students and keep parents informed in a secure online environment! Learn about the newer features of Blackboard, including webcam integration for multimedia, transferring grades from Blackboard to Power Teacher, and the Mobile App for Macomb students and teachers!
Cost of the Academy ($150) includes lunch, headsets for multimedia recording, and a copy of the book, Engaging the Online Learner as well as Techsmith SnagIt software for screen capture and recording. Certificates of Achievement will be provided upon completion of the Academy. For more information or to register, please click here.
